World Flags Quiz
World Flags Quiz
Some you’ll know in a heartbeat. Others are built to fool you.
A handful of flags are unmistakable. The rest are where things get interesting – entire countries that picked almost the same three stripes, sometimes by coincidence, sometimes because they used to be the same place.
This quiz puts fifteen flags in front of you, four country options each, and a good few genuine lookalikes thrown in: Indonesia and Monaco, Chad and Romania, Liechtenstein and Haiti (a mix-up so famous it caused an actual diplomatic moment at the 1936 Olympics). Get through them all and find out whether you land as a Local Tourist, a Frequent Flyer, a Globetrotter, or a true World Flags Master.
FAQs:
How many questions are in the world flags quiz? Fifteen, each with four country options and a short fact once you’ve answered.
Why do some countries have such similar flags? A few of the pairs in this quiz, like Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, share colours because they were once part of the same country, Gran Colombia. Others, like Chad and Romania, are simply unrelated and unlucky.
Can I play again? Yes – selecting “Fly again” at the end reshuffles both the questions and the answer order.
Is this quiz free to play? Yes, no sign-up or download required.
