Reaction Time Test
Reaction Time Test
How quickly do you react? This free test measures the time between a visual cue and your response, giving you a real number in milliseconds – the same basic method used in sports science and cognitive testing.
The rules are simple: click the box, wait for it to turn from red to green, then click as fast as you can. Click too early and that round doesn’t count, so it’s a genuine test of reflexes rather than guesswork.
You’ll get five rounds, and at the end you’ll see your best time, your average, and how that stacks up against typical human reaction speed.
An average adult reaction time sits somewhere around 250 milliseconds, with trained athletes and gamers often dipping under 200ms.
Try it a few times – reaction speed does improve with practice, so it’s worth comparing your first attempt to your fifth.
