FAQ
How do I print the geography quiz?
Open the quiz, choose Full or Quick using the toggle at the top, then click Print This Page. A formatted version opens in a new window. Print with answers showing for the quiz host and without for the players.
What is the difference between the Full and Quick versions?
The Full version has 40 questions across five rounds. The Quick version keeps the 25 most accessible questions from the same rounds, which works better for a shorter session or a group where geography knowledge varies widely.
What are the five rounds?
The rounds cover Capital Cities, Mountains, Rivers and Natural Wonders, Countries and Continents, British Geography, and Flags, Borders and World Records.
How difficult is the geography quiz?
The difficulty is mixed. Round 1 includes some capital city questions that catch people out (Canberra, Ottawa and Wellington are common wrong answers), while Round 5 includes some genuinely tricky questions about borders and records. The Quick version sticks to the most broadly known facts.
Is this quiz suitable for use in schools?
Yes. The questions cover topics that align with geography at KS2 and KS3 level, including continents, countries, rivers, mountains and map features such as the Prime Meridian and the equator.
